Is a family member transitioning to a retirement community, an assisted living facility, or a nursing home? Are you physically, geographically, or emotionally unable to help them prepare for their move?
Let us be your stand-in, taking care of all details with care and compassion.
We can:
- Patiently help senior family members go through their personal belongings,
household items and memorabilia, to determine what to bring with them and what to give to friends or relatives, sell, donate or dispose of
- Help locate important legal and real estate documents and other valuable items that may have been misplaced
- Keep you as involved as you wish by sending photos or videos so you can decide what to do with household items, family heirlooms, furniture, clothing, etc.
- Photograph items to be donated to charitable organizations, arrange for pick-up, and collect receipts for all donations
- Recommend, schedule, and supervise all service providers, including appraisers, estate and tag sale experts, housecleaning services, shredding and trash removal services
- In addition, we can be there when utility and contracted repair people are scheduled to be in the home
